For our weekend getaway, we headed up to Noosa, and stayed at the Outrigger Resort and Spa on Little Hastings Street. We had a two bedroom apartment, that included breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant both mornings we were there. The room itself was lovely, as was the resort. As it was hidden away above Hastings Street it felt as if you were worlds away even though you were only a 10 minute walk from all the shops.
Upon entering the room, we were meet with a decent sized modern kitchen and the back deck with a table for 6.
Carrying on, on the other side of the kitchen was the living room, some foxtel channels were included, which was great for us as we were there on a Thursday and Rugby HQ was on.
The master bedroom was a generous size and had its own access on the side to another balcony, as well as a wardrobe and ensuite.
The bathroom was again a good size and included a bath.
I actually showered in here, cause I loved this shower head, made me feel like I was in a waterfall.
The apartment included a laundry with a washer and dryer.
The second bedroom had two singled beds, and also had an ensuite but not a toilet, that was separate.
The view from the back deck was of more of the resorts buildings. However there are rooms with water views.
The back deck
The side balcony, had two loungers on it, we didn’t really use these as we were there in winter but in the summer would be great in the morning, as the sun hit this side of the room.
The pool was amazing, designed more to be a lagoon, plenty of seating along this side of the pool and more tables and chairs on the other. The pool was also heated, I wasn’t game enough to get in, but there were people in there.
Surrounded by trees, the perfect place to escape
The pool also had its own bar, and the gym was also inside this building.
They also have a complimentary golf buggy service, for those who didn’t want to walk to Hastings Street, they take you from the hotel reception to the bottom of Little Hastings Street, and when they pick you up will drop you off at the building your room is in. The resorts itself was beautiful and quite a nice escape.
